Springridge Farm proudly presents the Town and Country Christmas House Tour on behalf of United Way of Milton
"We are absolutely thrilled," remarked Kate Williamson, CEO, United Way of Milton. "Springridge Farm and the Hughes family have been our anchor venue and generous hosts for the dinner and wrap up wine and cheese event for our Friday night guided bus tours. Their offer to become the presenting sponsor will add enormously to the success of this popular event. They are a prime example of a local business that knows how to LIVE UNITED!"
The Town and Country Christmas House Tour, which showcases five beautiful homes in urban and rural Milton, each been professional decorated for the holiday season, has been an annual tradition in Milton for nearly 20 years. Each year nearly 1000 people buy tickets that allow them to tour these festive homes, thanks to the generosity of home owners, local interior decorators, garden centres, home furnishing retailers who give their time, skills and products in support of United Way of Milton.
The two-day event, scheduled this year for Friday evening November 18th and all day Saturday November 19th, usually contributes about $25,000 towards the United Way of Milton campaign.
"United Way of Milton funds local programs that help thousands of Milton families every year," commented Laura Hughes, co-owner with her husband John, of Springridge Farm. "We have always believed it is important to support this charity that does so much for so many local people. We are delighted to expand our commitment to the annual Christmas House Tour and proud to have our name as the presenting sponsor."
Springridge Farm, located on Bell School Line, just north of Derry Road, has been a favourite family destination for Milton and GTA families for decades. They feature pick-your-own crops throughout the growing season, a farm market and bakery, school tours and children's birthday parties from April to December, and an extensive gift and decor retail store located in a century-old stone barn.
